About Edatix

The data team tire & wheel businesses actually needed.

We built Edatix around a single observation: tire and wheel e-commerce has data and operations problems that generic agencies consistently get wrong — because they don't understand the industry.

Why we exist

Tire and wheel data isn't like other product data.

A 235/55R17 isn't just a product name — it's a structured spec that determines fitment for specific vehicles, load capacity, speed safety, and eligibility on specific marketplaces. Getting one field wrong doesn't just make a listing look bad. It causes a return, a bad review, or a suppressed listing.

Tire and wheel sellers deal with this complexity constantly: ACES fitment data, PIES product attributes, MAP pricing enforcement, manufacturer rebate windows, oversized LTL freight rules. Most e-commerce service companies don't know any of these things — and their work shows it.

We built Edatix to serve this industry properly. Every service we offer comes from deep familiarity with how tire and wheel e-commerce actually works — not applied frameworks from other product categories.

Our focus

  • Tire & wheel retailers
  • Tire & wheel wholesalers
  • Tire & wheel distributors
  • No other industries

Staying in one niche means deeper knowledge, better results, and a team that understands your business without a lengthy onboarding.

How we work

What we believe.

Accuracy over speed

Bad data moves fast and causes slow damage — suppressed listings, wrong-fit returns, MAP violations that take months to surface. We'd rather take the extra day to get it right than ship something that causes problems a quarter later.

Niche over breadth

We could serve any product category. We choose not to. The tire and wheel industry has its own language, its own data standards, its own freight rules — and staying in this lane means we serve our clients at a depth that generalists can't match.

Outcomes over activity

We measure our work by results — fewer errors, better compliance, lower freight costs — not by hours logged or tasks closed. If the catalog isn't improving, something is wrong and we own it.

Industry knowledge

What we know that generic agencies don't.

ACES / PIES data standards

The Auto Care Association's fitment and product data specs — we structure every catalog to these standards for maximum marketplace compatibility.

Tire size nomenclature

Width / aspect ratio / rim diameter / load index / speed rating / UTQG. Every field, correctly sourced and validated.

MAP & rebate policy management

Manufacturer pricing rules, rebate windows, and channel-specific compliance — we know how they work and how to enforce them automatically.

Oversized freight rules

LTL carrier policies, dimensional weight pricing, and oversized surcharges for tires and wheels — where the margin hides on every shipment.

Marketplace listing requirements

Amazon, eBay Motors, Walmart, Google Shopping — fitment data requirements, suppression triggers, and listing quality rules specific to auto parts.

Fitment data accuracy

Year / make / model / trim fitment — the most critical data for tire and wheel listings. We validate against industry fitment databases, not guesses.

How we engage

Every engagement starts with a free audit.

We don't sell packages from a price sheet. We start by understanding your operation — your SKU count, your channels, your current data quality, and your biggest pain — and then we scope a plan that fits what you actually need.

The audit is free, takes 30 minutes, and has no obligation. If we're a fit, we move forward. If we're not, we'll tell you that too.
